God sent him to die in our place to take away our sins. We receive forgiveness through faith. And all of this is because of the blood of Jesus’ death. This showed that God always does what is right and fair. God was right in the past when he was patient and did not punish people for their sins.

So you must change your hearts and lives! Come back to God, and he will forgive your sins.

Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Remember the Lord in everything you do. And he will give you success.

If anyone belongs to Christ, then he is made new. The old things have gone; everything is made new!

Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted within me? Hope thou in God; For I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.

Let us hold firmly to the hope that we have confessed. We can trust God to do what he promised.
